So many people thwart their own pursuits of success and happiness. You probably do too. Find out how to stop self-sabotage.
Success in life is achieved by following the laws, patterns and formulas that lead to it. It’s not magical; it’s not mystical; it’s actually quite simple.
But most people sabotage their own efforts to be happy, educated and successful.
The culture you create in your life and family will always win out over every other effort. Transform your culture and you will transform your results!
For years, I have had the privilege of being a mentor and a world traveler. And as people approach me they ask me how can I take my life to the next level? And as I ask them questions about their mindset and habits, I realize that most of us are really sabotaging their own success! Therefore, I want to share this idea about creating a culture of success. Because culture will always shine.
Education is, perhaps, the most important element of success in anything. Therefore, whatever you want to succeed at you need to study it and create this culture around learning and education.
My challenge for you is to get rid of your massive TV and get a beautiful library.
We have to create a loving, exciting and inspiring culture where it just becomes the default.
Personally, every night I try to read to my children before bed. And they expect that every night. My wife reads to them in the morning and we do family devotionals together where we read inspiring stuff and memorize great quotes and ideas. In other words, we are setting up a culture of learning in our family.
Thus, what’s your family culture for free time? When you don’t have something specific to do, what do you do?
For example, our family culture is ‘grab a book’! If we have 10 minutes free, we will grab a book.
What do you do while you are driving? Do you have great conversations?
Part of our family culture is to listen to an audiobook. And my children are in love with audiobooks!
Thus, I want you to look at every aspect of your life and create your own culture. Look through each aspect of your life; physical, mental, spiritual, social, emotional and financial and ask yourself what is the culture you have created for yourself and for your family.
Remember, you have to create a culture that supports the vision of who you want to become. And make sure you create an educational family culture that supports who you want to become and what you want to achieve.
